CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

If you’ve completed 12th with 50% marks, plus a two-year teaching diploma, you’re eligible. Alternatively, with 45% marks, you need a two-year teaching diploma per NCTE regulation 2002. Another option is completing 12th with a minimum of 50% marks and a four-year Bachelor of Teaching (B.EL.ED). Also, if you’ve finished the twelfth exam with at least 50% marks and completed or are in the final year of a two-year diploma in Education, you qualify.

CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

For this stage, a graduation degree and completion or pursuit of a two-year teaching diploma is required. You can also qualify with a graduation degree and a minimum of 50% marks, along with completion or pursuit of a one-year Bachelor in Education. Meeting NCTE rules, a graduation degree with at least 45% marks and pursuing or completing a one-year B.Ed is accepted. Additionally, a graduation degree with 50% marks and pursuing or completing B.Ed or finishing the last year of a four-year bachelor in teaching qualifies. Another option is completing the twelfth exam with 50% marks and passing the final year of B.Sc/B.A or B.Sc.Ed/B.A.Ed (four-year duration).
